Our team was deeply involved with the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering over the phase 1 of the complete refit of this very unique yacht. Our scope included the preliminary and detailed design for the new crew accommodation area, from the initial sketches, 2d arrangement proposals up to the final detailed 3d system routings and build supervision. Weight calculations and stability/trim monitoring ran in the background throughout the process.
During the project, we assisted the client with the reproduction of as-built drawings (since original plans were not all available for this old lady), other concept design proposals for other areas, GT calculations, structural drawings for equipment foundations, and stability testing/assessments.
