More info

A floating and mobile boarding and disembarkation establishment was designed to class and is intended to allow berthing of ferries in sheltered waters, one that could be shifted to alternative locations. The unit is a floating platform made up of eight buoyant columns that have been designed and optimised to dampen motions and to allow for ballasting and de-ballasting operations to accommodate different operational requirements.
