The purpose and scope of the project was to estimate the pressure drop of the Exhaust Gas Collector (EGC) using CFD calculations as well as estimating the pressure losses of the modified exhaust piping arrangement to suit the scrubber and EGC installation. Furthermore, various EGC designs were analysed, and the best candidate identified for optimal performance.
